Automated Quality Control

Traveltime Services uses Quality Control eXpert. This product is an automated quality control program that checks the logic, completeness, validity and accuracy of the information in each reservation. QCX verifies:

  • Air segment continuity
  • Lowest available airfare offered and/or booked/waitlisted
  • Correct savings code applied for management reports
  • Preferred seat assignments obtained/waitlisted for all flight segments where allowed by carriers
  • Frequent flyer numbers input for appropriate mileage accrual and upgrades
  • Special requests, such as in-flight meals, entered
  • Accommodations reserved for correct dates and cities, guaranteed for late arrival, rates confirmed, confirmation and ID numbers indicated and correct dates correspond to flight dates
  • Car rentals reserved for appropriate days in correct size and cities, contract rates, confirmation and ID numbers indicated; dates correspond to flight dates
  • International check-in requirements and documentation recorded and printed on the itinerary
  • Form of payment present and valid
  • Traveler's home phone numbers indicated so the traveler can be notified in the event of problems, if provided
  • Ticketing date not a weekend, before ticketing date or after travel begins
  • Number of employees on the same flight checked (for corporate policy compliance)

In addition to checking for lowest fare, preferred seat assignments, personal identification numbers and reservation continuity, QCX maintains a complete pre-ticket database including itinerary and hotel and car data. An integrated reporting package contains a complete set of reports including arrival and departure lists, and fare-check results. Customized ad-hoc reporting allows the design of additional reports for the individual client.
